This is a question from a hearing person for the Deaf community. I know that there are hundreds of different sign languages around the world. I was just wondering how common it is to become fluent in multiple sign languages? Are some more difficult than others? Is there a sign language lingua franca? If this is not the correct place to post this question, can anyone suggest a more appropriate subreddit? Thank you!
