Is how you are able to communicate with someone who's native tounge you don't know, and who doesn't know know your native, but you both know another language and are able to communicate through that. I feel that when I read a comment in Spanish where someone mentions that they're Japanese, say, but are learning Spanish, that reading that text can be cooler than reading native Spanish.
