In other words I'm talking about book-based language courses with good audio support. In Britain Linguaphone was always considered the best (as well as being really expensive!) I'm interested to know how they compare and which language courses you think are the very best (and worst!)
It doesn't have to be something listed here. There used to be one called Living Languages Complete which came in a cube almost with 3 main books plus 9 CDs but they seem to be out of print now...
