Grown up around a language your whole life but never learned to speak it. What app/method actually worked?

I'm from UK, grew up surrounded by Gujarati (TL) at home but never learned to speak or read it. Tried a couple of apps in the past but never stuck with it.
For anyone who's in a similar position what app or method actually worked for you to learn.
