Common format of the B2 CEFR exams

Hi everyone,

Am I right to notice that the B2 exam format is the same for most languages. The ones I'm looking at are French, Spanish, German, Italian and Modern Greek. They seem to have the following format:

  1. Written comprehension. A magazine-style article, nothing too complicated. And then some questions. You write the responses.

  2. Audio comprehension. Same thing as (1.) except it's read out. The complexity is usually slightly reduced compared to the written comprehension. And the same level of questioning. You write the responses.

  3. Oral. Basic conversation about a topic. He gives you a photo of a duck or something.

  4. Write either a letter of complaint or cancel a meeting with a friend.

Is this accurate?
