Can someone tell me if this an OK method?

Hi,

So basically I’m writing important words (like objects I would need to know) such as clothing, colours or basic actions on the middle of a flashcard.

Then I write examples of this word in sentences, usually 4 or 5 sentences. I try to find ways I would actually realistically use the words in a real scenario.
