I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of graded readers for other reasons, so maybe I'm prejudiced, but what is the point of graded readers for B2 and above? At that point, why wouldn't you just read things aimed at native speakers? You don't have to start with Tolstoy right away, but even YA fiction is great for that B1-B2 spot.
If you use graded readers at the advanced level, can you tell me why? I'm genuinely curious cause I try to get away from learner materials as soon as I can, and to me this seems like prolonging that stage for no reason.
