Hi! I’m Italian and I really love languages in general. I’ve been studying English for so many years now, and I’ve recently picked up Korean as well, but I had to abandon it because I had too many commitments.
I would like to study languages in university (with conservatory as well since I’m a pianist). Now I’d like to learn one or two languages to at least a B1 and I’m wondering which one should I pick.
I’m definitely going to reinforce my grammar knowledge in Italian since it’s pretty hard and I want to consolidate it and then I’d like to get to a B2/C1 in English. I’d like to learn another language as well, but I don’t know how to choose it.
Now I’m in Croatia and I might come back every summer so I was considering Croatian, but for my future career as a pianist it wouldn’t be useful. For that I should learn German, Russian or Polish. But then there are also languages I really enjoy, like Korean. What should I pick?
