I know a lot of people use ChatGPT and other LLMs to help them with writing, I'm curious how accurate it was for you.
Naturally, ChatGPT is not an examiner and it's very random in general, but I've heard from some people who passed TCF/TEF (French exams) that they got B2 on the writing component of the exam, whereas ChatGPT would consistently rate their writing as B1.
Personally, I noticed that it really loves to plug convoluted structures, sometimes to the point of absurdity where it would consider a rather obscure phrase to be a mark of "B2 writing", even though in reality even educated native speakers and people with C2 would not write like that outside of very specific contexts.
