Hello everyone! This year, Im supposed to go to a philological high school that is centered on learning languages. There are 10 different classes divided by the langauge theyre centered on and i cant choose which one.
French, Russian and English are out beacuse i didnt learn these in my previous school and I already know English well. Italian, Spanish and German are out too. That leaves me with Japanese, Chinese, Norwegian and Classical languages.
I feel like Chinese would open many doors since it has the most speakers and its the center of technology and a very progressive country. Japanese would also be cool since Ive tried learning it in the past and also listen to some music in japanese. Then again Classical langauges are what interest me the most, but Im scared I wont have many options with that after graduation. Norwegian is cool too, it would be great if I manage to get a scholarship and maybeee move to Norway one day?
Anyways, did yall have any similar experiences? Which langauge opens the most opportunities? Is it better to be practical with these things or just follow your passion?
(sorry for yapping so much!)
