I was never someone who cared much about languages and thought it wasn't that important to me, since English is a main spoken language that many of us should learn, but it was not until I came across Russian and started to grow a deep interest in it, because of its deep beautiful melodic sound. I then began to start developing a love for languages, because to me it just changes the way how you think and how you perceive the world. Your personality changes along with the language you speak as you immerse yourself in their culture to understand how they express emotions. Not to mention, it's kinda of a coping mechanism to me and helps with my mental health.
