To be clear I don’t think I would ever be able to learn the language this way without moving, especially if I did this in isolation without keeping up at a slower pace at home
I’m a Kiwi living in Australia and I’ve gone back to visit family once a year every year I’ve been living here, and I’ve decided if I ever get the chance to move back to NZ I’ll try learning Māori since I think it would be useful to know it atleast rudimentarily if I live there. Next time I go back I’m thinking I might actively try to learn as much as I can and after that practicing at a slower pace back home, not to properly learn it itself but to act as a springboard for if I can actually move back oneday
How much can this actually accomplish and what related advice would you give? Not an expert on language learning either haha
