Looking for feedback on my Translation+Flashcard tool: Tradu

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a tool I've been building: Tradu is a translation and flashcard-creation app designed to be simple.

How it works:

  1. Search for a word or phrase
  2. Get translations scraped from WordReference (definitions, parts of speech, example expressions)
  3. Drag the ones you want into a "Cards to Make" column
  4. Edit them if you need to (remove unnecessary parts, add context)
  5. Upload directly to your Mochi Cards deck with one click

Just search → edit → upload.

Major changes coming:

  • Obviously I can add more languages
  • Adding Anki support

Why I did this:

I was constantly using wordreference to translate words but, of course, simply translating a word doesn't teach you it. I love using flashcard apps but actually making the flashcards sucks. I decided to combine it into one app for my own personal ease of use.
