Niche topic, I know. I was thinking about this the other day. I want to learn a language only for my brain, to protect it and push it. My language of choice is German. I went on italki to look for a regular tutor and they were too expensive for me. This led me down a path where I was picking other languages to learn and some were MUCH cheaper on average.
Is there any reason for me to switch languages to one that is cheaper to hire regular tutors, based on the idea this is just to exercise my brain and not for a job or moving countries?
and has anyone else done something similar
