People who moved abroad and still struggle with the local language – what’s been the hardest part?

I’m not asking for success stories.

I’m genuinely curious about people who moved to another country and are still struggling with the local language, even after trying apps like Duolingo, courses, or self-study.

If that’s you:

What language are you struggling with?

How is it affecting your life? (jobs, friendships, paperwork, daily life, etc.)

What have you already tried that didn’t really work?
