I have tried with the comprehensive input but I just don't have enough vocabulary to really understand anything in my target language...
I have been listening to a few videos, they say the word in Chinese first then English, it does seem like I'm starting to pick up vocabulary this way ... Can you learn from just repeating- out loud... everything that you hear, one word at a time?
I do have a tutor and I have guidance from her on pronunciation and she is using the hsk1 book in class, hsk1- that's the level of the words I'm listening to .. About 2 hours a day for the listening...
Can anyone speak about this .. is this method a thing ? Or am I just wasting my time? Anyone have any input?
