Is it bad to learn 2 languages at the same time?

I’m a native English speaker, i’m intermediate in my Spanish. In Gaelic i’m near the A1 marker. I never get them mixed up, thankfully because they are different enough. When I tell people that I am learning 2 at once they always tell me to stop. Is it bad that I still do?
