I had a shower thought about language barrier, especially in the topic of translations/adaptations of media, that divides Indo-European languages, and I was curious about your thoughts on that, and maybe some ideas how to cross that wall.
The problem: inappropriate adjectives of Balto-Slavic languages, or rather lack of their equivalent in Germanic languages (please share how it looks like in Italic, Celtic or Hellenic ones!).
Take English - if something is good - I can think only of it being fucking good.
Something's bad? A little better, things can be not only fucking bad, but also dogshit.
Being Polish, my expressive options while speaking in English feel like cut by 90%.
Did anyone had a similar experience?
