Edgar Allan Poe is hard to read but is great for SAT prep!

I know this has been voiced many times, but as a non-native English speaker, I struggle to enjoy his works in their original language. Reading him in Russian felt amazing. I enjoyed Murders in the Rue Morgue and The Oblong Box, but his sentences are boxy.

Nevertheless, I think his works are great resources to prepare for SAT! I understand all his vocabulary after preparing for the Verbal. It's not that vocabulary makes him hard to understand, but rather the structure of sentences. Hope that I will be able to enjoy him after dedicated efforts!
