Advice for introducing a new language to my kid-new Mom 😊

deleted and reposted cause I misspelled a word in my header 💀

Hey guys 🖐️ I came here to ask for advice from others who may have some experience/insight. I wish to introduce a new language to my daughter. She's 2 n a half now. She shown signs of intelligence early and hit the ground running with everything I've taught her. We're even potty trained at this point 😭

She's shown an intrest in learning Spanish from Dora and has also learned some sign language. I'm kinda sad to see the baby go, but I want to take advantage now on her piking intrest. So I'm here for some advice!

For some background, when I saw the sign language she was incorporating while talking to me, I decided to use YouTube for kids to customized the videos she could watch to include sign language learning lessons. I was like cool! I don't know it, maybe this will help. She definitely loves it. Now she's showing intrest in Spanish and I wish to nurture the skills she's showing intrest in.

A few questions!

Would you guys recommend doing this now or waiting till she's older?

For those with experience learning a new language as a child, do you remember when it all clicked for you, age wise? And if possible which one would you recommend to learn?

And lastly, for the parents (or anyone with insight!) did you child remember the language as they aged, or is this something we're looking at lifelong lessons for to retain the language?
