Anki made smarter

Has anyone found ways of being creative to make Anki more dynamic for language learning. Currently trying to build up a fund of knowledge for Spanish and it's going find but I don't know what I don't know so I am trying to figure out if there are resources to either integrate other technologies into Anki for this purpose or if there are simply creative add on's you guys have found that make learning more efficient. thanks
