How I Solved the Frustration of Constantly Looking Up Translations While Reading in a Foreign Language
As someone who loves reading to learn new languages, I recently decided to start reading books in Dutch to improve my skills. However, as a beginner, I quickly ran into a frustrating problem: I was constantly stopping to look up translations of words I didn’t understand.
It felt like I was spending more time on my phone searching than actually reading the book! After a while, it really started to take the joy out of the experience.
That’s when I started thinking – what if there was a tool that could help me translate words as I read, without having to manually search for them? So, I decided to build something myself that would allow me to read more fluidly without these constant interruptions.
For anyone who's faced similar frustrations while reading in a foreign language, I’ve built a solution that help me a lot. If you're curious, feel free to check it out here: https://lexivoice.com
Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue? How do you handle it when reading in another language?
