What do you think will Swearing in your TL can also make you feel less pain?

I sometimes say the word sh#t/f###/motherf####r when I accidentally hit my head/toe to somewhere but compared to the swear words in my NL🇺🇿(sk#y, Bl#a, G##don, Q###q) they give less effect to my mind.

But sometimes when I swear in Russian or Turkish they give the same effect as my NL because my NL shares similarities with these two languages.

I am interested to your opinions?
