I read books / browse the web in the target language on the phone and save words in Google Translate to later transfer them into Anki for spaced repetition.
The algorithm is:
- Star all words in translation history one by one
- Sync to web-version translate.google.com
- Export to Google sheets (+ the custom function pulls the meaning of words from Merriam-Webster)
- Save the file as CSV
- Import file into Anki
The time-consuming part is manual staring of all words in search history as it's impossible to export not starred words to Google sheets. Is there a workaround or a faster solution?
