What is it that motivates you?
I know lots of people have different reasons for learning languages: travel, work, family, hobby, and lots of other reasons.
But is there anyone else that constantly finds people who say things such as “why are you doing that?” or “it’s not gonna get you anywhere” or “do something practical” and loads of other things that are similar.
What is your response to these people and what motivates you to keep going regardless of their views and opinions which seem to be quite common?
And yes I agree that people can do whatever they like and everyone has their own opinions too.
