I live in Belgium for a 1 year now. Before moving here I started to check Dutch language basics. Then I decided to learn French because French is more common in Brussels center. However at work my colleagues are mostly speaking in Dutch. I have also French native friends at work. I am studying French by myself and I don't even look at Dutch. Because I read somewhere that 2 languages at once is not a good idea. On the other hand I don't want to lose opportunity at work hearing Dutch all the time. I am at the beginning in French as well. So confused right now. Anyone who had a similar problem?
