Any suggestions on avoiding the temptation to listen, copy or sub-vocalize?
Becoming a 'reader' in a non latin alphabet language should only take a few months (I've heard), cutting out speaking, listening, writing etc. but I feel the urge to seek out pronunciation where there's no need.
Any help appreciated.
