I've noticed when working with a new tutor/conversation partner, that sometimes the same topics come up. And while some of them, I've gotten good at (like talking about my family), there are others where I still haven't learned the proper vocabulary (like when talking about a hobby).
Has anyone taken time to jot down topics that they discuss often, and learn vocab specific to that conversation and practice it? It seems pretty narrow rather than "just study" but it also seems like it be very worth my time to learn to talk about what I talk about often in English.
Thoughts??
