I used to speak French as I grew up in France but moved to the US at 8 and my parents at this point according to them only started using English around me but they said prior to this I used to speak quite fluent French for my age but now at 29 I don’t know a word. It’s just kinda funny how you don’t use something for so long you lose it. Makes the phrase use it or lose it even more true. Also For those of you who did lose your native tongue and try to pick it back up later do you think it was made easier due to your prior experience or no? I t
