Hi, I have grown up speaking Spanish and taught myself Portuguese and very quickly was able to get to a basic conversational level with Portuguese because my mother spoke Portuguese at home. I have recently wanted to learn Catalan and am learning the very basic essentials of the language right now and am wondering at what level of progress I should start working with a tutor? Does anyone have any advice?
