The Theres

I figured this would probably be the best place to put this post cause I honestly don’t know where else Ig would fit.

It’s honestly insane to me how so many people just don’t know the difference between the theres, so I wanted to explain them.

Their is a possessive pronoun. Example: Their ice cream is so good!

There is used as an adjective, noun, and adverb. Examples would be: He is always there for me. Get away from there and, Stop right there.

Finally, They’re is a contraction. Like the words can’t and don’t. It is a contraction of they are. Example: They’re getting married.
