The general consensus is that Duolingo isn’t enough on its own - that it needs supplementary study to get people anywhere useful in the real world (say, to B1 level).
What are those minimum “must have” additional study formats, for you?
For me it’s
• Some kind of Anki/Leitner System, to cement in my mind my most commonly used phrases (or any useful words and phrases Duolingo throws up).
• At leaset 5 minutes a day of talking out loud in my target language.
• Past and practice exam examples (if I’m going for a certificate).
