Concerns about starting a language

Let me first preface that this is just my opinion but I’m literally about to go crazy.

Any one find the language you can see yourself learning but social factors of the country or region is from stops you? For me it’s racism. I can’t stop thinking about how I’ll be perceived by the people who speak the language. Why would I learn a language where my kind isn’t even liked. Please give me some advice I’m at my wits end I just wanna break this barrier and be able to sink my hours in 😞
