Whenever I go to study Japanese, I always somehow end up on at least one post or commenter who claims it is just a big waste of time, too hard, etc. I am very dedicated to learning Japanese (I've been doing about 20 mins-1 hour every day) but when I see these types of posts it gets me discouraged. I still practice through that though. It's just hard to get those people out of your head.
