What kind of exercises would you recommend doing with a student who's scared/embarrassed of speaking the language? His language level is between A1 and A2. The lessons take place via Skype. Basically, what I would like to know is: From your own experience as a teacher or student, how can I really motivate someone to speak the language they're learning? Do you know of any good conversation exercises that'll boost my student's confidence?
