Has anyone used this textbook?

Hello all!

This semester I'll be taking Ancient Greek 1 at university, this is the first time I'll be learning about ancient Greek language. And the textbook we're prescribed is, "An introduction to Ancient Greek: A literary approach." By Lusching. Has anyone had any experience with this textbook that can give me any insight if its worth purchasing? I'd also be extremely grateful for any tips on starting out. We will be learning the Attic greek dialect.
