I've been using apps like Tandem and HelloTalk for a couple of years now and I've met some really wonderful language exchange partners that helped me improve my Spanish. I keep trying to talk to people of my same gender but I barely get any responses. Most of the time it's girls trying to talk to guys and vice versa but if I prefer to talk to people from the same gender an I barely get a response. It's really annoying . I was wondering if others have experienced this as well?
