There's a well-known article that ranks the most effective study techniques (self-testing, distributed practice) to the debunked techniques (highlighting, rereading). Is there any similar article that exists specifically for language learning? I'm interested in reviews of strategies like flash cards, frequency lists, learning IPA, and so on.
