Questions for netflix watchers who have noticed the difference in subtitles listed as "Spanish" versus "Spanish[CC]". --the latter seems to match the Spanish audio closely whereas the former doesn't. What shows/movies have you noticed with "Spanish [CC]" specifically?
Examples that seem to have "Spanish [CC]" closed captions specifically:
Pokemon Season 1
Avengers Infinity War and Thor Ragnarok (?) I think too also have "Spanish [CC]" specifically, not just "Spanish"
Why I ask:
- I use a chrome extension to see double subtitles (English and Spanish)
- seeing Spanish subtitles that match the Spanish audio is good for following/learning spellings -> Spanish [CC] is a bit better for me as a beginner
What shows/movies on Netflix have you noticed with "Spanish [CC]" listed as a subtitle option specifically?
In other shows where they have only Spanish subtitles but not Spanish [CC] subtitles listed, it usually means the audio and subtitles will be a bit different translations (probably because the dub team has to worry about mouth movements whereas the subtitle team doesn't care)
