Is there a good source in comparing various Chinese dialects/languages?

I'm not really interested in language learning but in languages in general, so not sure whether it fits here.

I'd like to have a source which compares all the major Chinese dialects/languages as a whole, similar to what one can frequently find about romance languages. I look for something like that or that but for the various Chinese dialects, that is sources which compare Chinese dialects directly for the purpose of comparison.

PS: Also, feel free to cite sources about Arabic languages, which I feel have also quite sparse comparisons of its various languages/dialects.
