i understand hindi and punjabi, but how can i learn how to speak them?

my parents spoke these languages to me as a child, so i can understand both pretty much fluently.

i'm aware that they are mutually intelligible varieties, and that punjabi is likely a dialect of hindi, however, I would like to learn the differences between them. punjabi sounds very different from hindi even though much of the words are the same or similar
