Hello everyone! My sister just had her first baby not to long ago. We are from the US and the area we grew up in is very rural. I had a discussion with her on what her plans were for her daughter education wise when she is older and she said she wanted more opportunities for her than what we had growing up. Our school was very small and didn’t offer the best education. I suggested maybe once she gets a little older to start teaching her either Spanish or German. Just because we have a lot of German speakers back home and more and more Spanish speakers moving to our area. I am a firm believer people who speak multiple languages have more opportunities in life. What are your thoughts? When should you start introducing a second language to a child and how would you do that? Music or just children’s shows and books? Thanks for reading!
