Most efficient way, less than a year!

Hi all,

I'm going to Italy this time next year and have just found out. I would to be conversant with natives by then. Not discussing politics etc, just the usual, normal stuff, not work and specific based. I have all the levels on Rosetta stone,Michel Thomas, pimsleur. I also have Duolingo. Can anyone recommend the best way to learn?
