What should I do?

I'm learning Japanese at the moment in hopes of doing a TEFL

But I have a predicament

So I'm Irish and doing the Leaving Cert(Irish equivalent of your final exams)

I do pass Irish(the one that people who have difficulty doing)

I've been shit at it all my life because my primary school teachers were pure dopes altogether and didn't give us a good grasp at the language

I'll have the Irish Oral in a while so I'm wondering should I start getting into Irish?

Only problem is that I heard that it's not good to learn two languages at the same time

So what should I do?
