Hi. I'm from U.S and I want to learn Japanese and Portuguese (Brasil). Is it good to study both? Are there any studies or anyone can tell me their progress on learning two languages especially ones of different language groups? (French and Chinese, Urdu & German, etc) I also want to learn Spanish but I Have a basic grasp on it already especially reading it just by living in NYC so I don't want to focus on it too much but I could learn it along with Portuguese, it's pretty easy to me.
