Those who have successfully gone from Modern Standard Arabic to speaking a dialect: any tips or resources?
I see many posts similar to this, but not necessarily in the exact situation (that I assume many others were/are in):
For someone who studied MSA to a decent level of proficiency, short of in-country immersion, what's the best way to make the switch to a dialect? Any general tips are appreciated (i.e. emphasizing speaking over textbook work, etc).
