I’m a native English speaker and I’m currently on my 5th year of learning Spanish at the high school level (AP Spanish). Just recently I wanted to start to learn French, or at least the basics of it. I just started today with Duolingo and listening to Coffee Break French, I also talked to the French teacher at my school who gave me a French 1 textbook and some websites: tv5.org and rfi savoirs. I’m just wondering if anyone has some good resources, general advice, and just what I should expect from teaching myself a language.
