One of the things I've been doing on Anki is creating a card that has a sentence in my target language on one side with a vocabulary word that I want to learn highlighted. On the other side, I put the translation of just the word itself in English. That way, I can see the word in context, then I can see it's translation. Also, I usually put it's definite form if it's a verb as well as it's conjugated form in the sentence.
Is this an effective way to learn vocabulary? Your thoughts?
