I’m starting to self learn Chinese while learning more Spanish

So I’ve been studying Spanish for 4.5 months now and I really want to start learning Mandarin. I will still do 80% Spanish and 20% Mandarin. I used Duolingo and almost completely all the lessons (leveled 3 most of them) and I will do extensive things to enhance mi español. I want to get the basics of Mandarin down by learning it’s characters

Suggest something please—> What should I use to start learning the basics and characters? I don’t think Duolingo is good for Mandarin
