I was complimented!

This happened last night, and I just wanted to tell someone!

I regularly attend a French language club, and have been struggling recently with feelings of lack of progress (I've recently changed my methods). Last night there were two new people that were French natives, and we got into a conversation. About halfway through they stopped me to ask if I was American, to which I responded that I was. They then both complimented me on how well I speak French! I kinda brushed it off because I felt myself stumbling sometimes, but they reaffirmed that I speak well and have a good accent!

I'm feeling more motivated than ever!
